Brenda Cooke

 Brenda started playing the drums in 1985 when she was 42. She was taking her daughter, who plays the clarinet, to the Bourne Concert Band and their drummer left. Much to the annoyance of her daughter Brenda stepped in,  without any previous training. She is however a trained ballerina (The Royal Ballet School) which helped. She has gone from strength to strength playing with The Woking Wind Orchestra and joined The Bagshot Band in 1999.
